My name is Gennadiy Mokhnenko, and I am a Ukrainian Pentecostal pastor from Mariupol.

I am also the father of 39 children, most of whom I’ve adopted. My city was destroyed. 

As far back as 2014, at the beginning of this war, our congregation was targeted.

 Russia sent a group of commandos with orders to shoot me on the doorstep of the church.

RUSSIA KIDNAPPED 19,000 UKRAINIAN CHILDREN

They’re torturing, they’re raping, they’re kidnapping our children. I evacuated my orphanage within 40-minutes of the territory falling under the latest occupation last year. 

RUSSIANS ARE RAPING WOMEN AND CHILDREN

We were literally pulling our children out in a race against Russian tanks, down to the very last minute. 

Russia’s official representative to the UN Security Council even called my children’s rehabilitation center a children’s terrorist camp! 

Because of such lies, many I know have had to pack up their families and evacuate them just to survive, they were on the Russian hit list.

CHRISTIANS TARGETED BY RUSSIANS

 I am proud that hundreds of my friends and pastors across Ukraine did not keep silent despite pressure from authorities in the occupied territories. 

But of course, they paid the price, they lost their buildings, houses, property, churches, they became refugees, many of them died, were tortured, or imprisoned.
